Adagio Health's Center for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (CAPP) is committed to comprehensive sexuality education. CAPP's programs in sexuality education are tailored to meet the needs of their specific audiences, from teens to parents to teachers and others who work with teens.

Peer Education

Through its peer education program, CAPP ensures that teens throughout western Pennsylvania receive up-to-date, accurate information about reproductive health issues. College-age peer educators are available to speak to youth groups and classes about a variety of sexuality and reproductive health topics, from dating violence to puberty to contraception. Read more about the peer education program.

Parent Education

CAPP's parent education program is designed to provide parents with the skills they need to communicate with their children about sexuality and related issues. Parents are encouraged to request Adagio Health's free Family Connections guidebooks and to attend workshops on talking with their children about sex. Read more about CAPP's parent education program.

Professional Training

CAPP has developed several training programs for teachers and other professionals who work with youth. These training programs enhance knowledge about topics of sexuality and give professionals the skills to share this information with teens. Read more about CAPP's professional training program.
