Questions about Birth Control
home > health care services > family planning > birth control > birth control FAQs

A variety of birth control methods are available to you. Choosing the best method can be a difficult decision. Here are some questions you should ask yourself before you decide on a method:

  • How safe and reliable is this method?
  • Will I have trouble remembering to use it?
  • Will I feel embarrassed about using this method?
  • How important is it that I not get pregnant right now? Do I plan to have children in the future?
  • How often do I have sexual intercourse? Can I pick a method to use only when I am having sex?
  • Will my partner dislike this method?
  • Do I have more than one partner?
  • Will I need a method that protects me against sexually transmitted diseases?
  • Do I need to touch parts of my body (genitals) to use this method?

You may want to talk about these questions with Adagio Health's clinical staff or your health care provider. For more information, contact Adagio Health.
